Ten things you might not know about me

Admittedly, if you are close to me, there may be so many things on this list you already knew. But for those who might not know anything about me, here are some "get-to-know-yous".

1) I was born in a city called Harrisburg in the state of Pennsylvania (USA). So I'm an American born and bred. But whilst many notice the accent, I know many Americans think I have a pretty Aussie accent - something I don't really notice.

2) I have a scar above my left eye from rocking on a chair and hitting it against the corner of the desk. That was not a fun night, and I think we learnt the ancient rule: don't rock on your chairs, kids!

3) I have between 350 and 400 relatives just on my Mom's side, because her dad had 10 brothers and sisters. The age gap between him and his oldest brother was around 20 years and he wasn't even the youngest child!

4) I was going to be a twin. It's a little thing called Vanishing Twin Syndrome that happens early on in a pregnancy. Its not a miscarriage. It just doesn't split quite right and so the other child kinda absorbs it (as far as my medical knowledge goes). But, no, I did not eat my twin.

5) I am a pastor's kid, was baptised as an infant, and can't remember a time when I wasn't a Christian - something I feel incredibly blessed about.

6) I have a double-jointed pinky finger on my left hand

7) When I was younger, I bit into a glass as I was drinking (accidentally) and had to be rushed to hospital by my parents. I never went into surgery, but I was given some nice chocolate tasting medicine. Long story short, I probably pooped it out - but sometimes I think it's probably still puncturing my internal organs somewhere, because I don't remember it coming out. Kinda like iron man, if they took out the glass, I'd probably die.

8) I am a Musical enthusiast (surprise, suprise). In fact, I have seen Wicked three times. However, I have been to broadway, but never a broadway show.

9) Mom had a pretty interesting pregnancy with me, apparently. Because she was pregnant with me when a tree randomly fell down on the car while they were driving with the whole family. No one got injured but the car was totalled. As well as this, when Mom and Dad went to a DC talk concert (look 'em up, they wrote the song "Jesus Freak") I apparently was bouncing up and down so much in their stomach. Guess I always did like music.

10) I have travelled to a fair few countries (and always wanderlust). I have been to Singapore, Philippines, New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, France, USA, England, Dubai and Qatar.

Bonus Fact) I have an outie :)
